Grandparents’ Day at LFIE Beyrouth, Bchamoun annexe, 2 May 2025

At a time when pupils are growing up with their eyes glued to screens, and when immediacy takes precedence over time devoted to action and reflection, children have a priceless treasure close at hand: their grandparents.

With them, they learn to listen, to observe and to share real life lessons. In this way, they understand that knowledge also comes through hands-on experience, through patience and through the pleasure of doing.

Over time, alongside their grandparents, children discover the world with their hands, their eyes and their hearts.

An unforgettable day with our grandparents

Today, the school welcomed some very special guests: our dear grandparents. It was with great joy and emotion that we received them to share a delicious meal prepared with love. Smiles lit up every face, and the children were proud to show off their school and to spend a unique moment with their elders.

After the meal, laughter gave way to music: grandchildren and grandparents danced together in an atmosphere full of tenderness and closeness. It was a day rich in memories, laughter and love. A true moment of happiness that will stay engraved in our hearts.
